This Leistritz ZSE 50 HP-40D twin screw extruder from 2004 has a screw diameter of 50 mm and a robust torque output of approximately 1572 Nm. It is optimized for pharmaceutical and high-throughput compounding applications. The machine offers a throughput capacity of around 200 kg/h at a maximum screw speed of 500 rpm, powered by a 65 kW drive. Featuring a high specific torque density (~15 Nm/cm³) and an OD/ID ratio of ~1.66, it delivers excellent throughput and torque balance.
